Sow Good Now is proud to be recognized as a leader in youth philanthropy, youth leadership, community service, and the power of sport to create positive social change.

Since our founding, Sow Good Now has worked to grow the next generation of philanthropic athletes by connecting student-athletes with opportunities to serve, mentor, lead, and uplift younger children and communities.

Faces of Philanthropy

In 2026, our President and Co-Founder, Mary Fischer-Nassib, was recognized through the Philadelphia Business Journal's Faces of Philanthropy / Partners in Philanthropy program, which highlights leaders and organizations making a meaningful difference across Greater Philadelphia.

The Philadelphia Business Journal's annual Partners in Philanthropy program recognizes people and partnerships dedicated to improving the Greater Philadelphia community.

Main Line Parent LOVE Award

Sow Good Now was also honored by Main Line Parent through its LOVE Awards recognition program, celebrating organizations that make an exceptional difference for children, families, and communities.

The Main Line Parent LOVE Awards and Family Favorites program recognizes organizations based on meaningful recommendations and testimonials from members of the local community, with an emphasis on authentic impact rather than simply popularity or vote totals.

This recognition reflects what families, coaches, student-athletes, and community partners experience firsthand through Sow Good Now: young people have extraordinary gifts and the ability to use those gifts to uplift others.

Through youth philanthropy and sport, Sow Good Now helps young people discover that their athletic ability, leadership, time, talent, relationships, and voice can all become tools for doing good.

2025 Awards

Outstanding Youth in Philanthropy Award

Sow Good Now, a local nonprofit that connects student-athletes with underserved youth through sports and service, was honored to receive the 2025 Outstanding Youth in Philanthropy Award from the Association of Fundraising Professionals (AFP) Greater Philadelphia Chapter.

This recognition is especially meaningful because it celebrates the heart of Sow Good Now's mission: empowering young people to recognize their own ability to create meaningful change.

Through our GiveBack model, student-athletes use their time, talent, leadership, relationships, and athletic networks to serve others. Young athletes learn that philanthropy is not something they have to wait until adulthood to practice—they can begin making an impact right now.

Wall of Distinction at Malvern Preparatory School

On October 29, 2025, our President and Co-founder, Mary Fischer-Nassib, was inducted into the wall of distinction at Malvern Preparatory School.

This honor recognizes Mary's leadership, service, and lifelong dedication to others -- a reflection of the Augustinian values of truth, unity, and love, and the call to serve those most in need.
